Job Title: Ocular Scientist

We are seeking a highly skilled Ocular Scientist to join our team in Massachusetts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct ocular research and experiments in a vivarium setting, including non-clinical ocular imaging, animal handling, and tissue perfusion.
  • Manage samples from in vivo studies and perform basic wet lab skills in molecular biology and biochemistry techniques.
  • Evaluate various test modalities in vitro and generate novel cell models and/or develop immunoassays.
  • Collaborate with our team to advance our understanding of ocular diseases and develop innovative treatments.
Requirements:
  • PhD or Masters degree in Ophthalmology or a related field.
  • Extensive experience in ocular research and vivarium responsibilities.
  • Hands-on experience managing samples from in vivo studies and performing basic wet lab skills.
  • Experience in evaluating various test modalities in vitro and generating novel cell models.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in developing immunoassays and generating novel cell models.
  • Hands-on experience with molecular biology and biochemistry techniques.
