Position Overview:
The Senior Vice President of Strategic Initiatives will oversee the daily operational management of client requirements and guide the Strategy team in their everyday functions.

This role will report to either the Senior Vice President or Executive Vice President of Strategy within the Health Care Professional (HCP) division.

Work Environment:
This is a hybrid position, necessitating three days of in-office presence each week.

Your Contributions:

  • You will serve as one of the leading experts in HCP Media Strategy for several key clients.
  • You will spearhead the media strategy for HCP.
  • You will possess a comprehensive understanding of the function of media channels within a strategic plan.
  • You will enhance your proficiency in various media research tools.
  • You will supervise a team of direct reports, along with a larger group of indirect reports, focusing on:
    • Onboarding processes
    • Performance evaluations
    • Providing training resources and tools
    • Managing and distributing team workloads
    • Coaching the team to meet client and agency expectations
  • You will handle multiple accounts, transitioning between them while performing the following tasks:
    • Ensuring accountability for the team's deliverables and outcomes
    • Offering initial feedback on media strategies, timelines, and deliverables in collaboration with other teams
    • Providing insights to clients to help shape their marketing priorities
    • Building daily relationships with relevant clients on assigned brands
    • Overseeing the overall media strategy, approach, and planning for each account
    • Managing the media channel mix and initial budget allocation with justification
    • Representing the interests of other capability teams in client and agency partner meetings
    • Collaborating with internal leaders to ensure strategic alignment of deliverables with client needs
    • Promoting continuous improvement for yourself, your team, and client deliverables
    • Being responsible for organic growth initiatives on your account and potentially assisting in new business endeavors.
