Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the daily operations and supervision of a group of children.
  • Adhere to all regulations and guidelines related to the health, safety, and care of children.
  • Execute approved lesson plans and daily schedules in accordance with our educational curriculum.
  • Maintain an engaging and well-organized classroom that inspires creativity and decision-making among children.
  • Provide positive reinforcement and set clear expectations for children's behavior.
  • Take responsibility for the upkeep and cleanliness of the classroom and shared spaces.
  • Present a professional appearance in line with our employee guidelines.
  • Assist in various tasks as directed by the leadership team.

Qualifications:

  • Must meet the basic requirements set by local childcare regulatory agencies.
  • Prior experience in a teaching or assistant teaching role within a licensed early childhood program is preferred.
  • Understanding of the social, emotional, and developmental needs of young children.
  • Ability to lift up to 35 lbs. for the safety and care of children.
  • For Lead Infant - Preschool Teachers: A two-year degree in early childhood education or a related field is preferred.
  • For Pre-Kindergarten Teachers: A four-year degree in early childhood education or a related field is required.
  • For Assistants: A high school diploma is required.
