Principal or Sr Principal System Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal or Sr Principal System Engineer to join our team at Northrop Grumman. As a key member of our Systems Test Engineering team, you will be responsible for ensuring the readiness of our System-Under-Test to execute tests safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities- Test Readiness: Ensure the System-Under-Test is ready to execute tests safely and efficiently.
- Test Team Support: Serve as an integral part of the test team and provide subject matter expertise during test events.
- Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot and resolve issues during test events as required.
- Anomaly Assessment: Assess anomalies, document troubleshooting efforts, and develop resolutions in accordance with documented procedures.
- Software Installation: Perform software installations as required.
- Configuration Management: Maintain configuration management of software and hardware.
- Procedure Development: Author and edit procedure documents as required.
- Security Clearance: Active DoD Secret Security Clearance is required.
- Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in a STEM field and a minimum of 12 years of relevant experience, or Master's degree in a STEM field and a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience.
- Technical Skills: Experience with Linux and Windows Operating Systems, computer network hardware/software configuration, and familiarity with Linux command line.
- Security Certification: Must be able to obtain and maintain IAT Level 2 Security Certification or IAT DoD level 3 within 6 months of start date.
- Active TS Clearance: Active TS clearance is preferred.
- Engineering Knowledge: Ability to read and understand engineering blueprints/drawings.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work a flexible work schedule that may include pre-planned extended shifts, holidays, and weekends.
- Technical Skills: Experience with Line-of-sight and Beyond Line-of-Sight Radio Frequency systems, familiarity with Crew Resource Management, and ability to read and understand network configurations.
- Collaboration: Ability to collaborate in a team environment.
- Negotiation: Ability to negotiate and integrate different viewpoints.
- Prioritization: Ability to prioritize and adjust tasks to accomplish the project result.
- Decision Making: Ability to make decisions that impact the organization's credibility, operations, and services.
