Job Responsibilities

  • Promote and market the range of Assurance residential products.
  • Consistently meet and exceed the company's production benchmarks by accurately processing loan applications.
  • Build and maintain relationships with real estate agents, banking professionals, builders, and other referral sources to generate new business and retain existing clients.
  • Ensure overall customer satisfaction throughout the loan process, from application to closing, including advising and pre-qualifying potential home buyers.
  • Gather and evaluate information regarding clients' income, assets, investments, and debts.
  • Assess the purchasing, building, or refinancing needs of each client to recommend the most suitable financial products.
  • Provide guidance to clients on the pros and cons of various loan options.
  • Collect all necessary application and underwriting documentation along with applicable fees and lock-in details.
  • Oversee the loan process by tracking loan status and ensuring compliance with terms.
  • Communicate loan status updates to all relevant parties.
  • Negotiate loan terms and conditions with clients.
  • Stay informed about trends and developments in the local real estate market and changes in regulations related to conventional and government-insured mortgages. Maintain a professional demeanor and adhere to company policies and procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.


Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Required state licenses.
  • Minimum of 1 year of loan originator experience for Loan Originator and at least 5 years for Senior Loan Originator.
  • Ability to interact with regional and corporate departments, as well as realtors, sales agents, builders, appraisers, etc.
  • Proven judgment and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation abilities.
  • Capacity to quickly analyze and process large volumes of data and utilize appropriate AU software technology.
  • Active participation in community and job-related organizations to enhance networking opportunities.
