Logistics Coordinator Job Description

As a Logistics Coordinator at New England Wire Products, Inc., you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our logistics and supply chain functions. Your primary responsibility will be to coordinate and schedule all logistics for outbound and inbound orders, working closely with our production team and clients to meet their needs.

We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented individual with excellent communication and customer service skills to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in logistics and supply chain management, with experience in a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Scheduling and coordinating logistics for outbound and inbound orders
  • Coordinating with production team to ensure timely delivery of products
  • Managing freight and transportation arrangements
  • Providing excellent customer service to clients and internal stakeholders
  • Assisting with the development of a Customer Service function
  • Learning and implementing new processes and procedures

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in logistics and supply chain management
  • Strong knowledge of logistics and transportation principles
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred

Please note that this is a non-remote position and requires daily presence in Leominster, MA.
