As a Logistics Coordinator at New England Wire Products, Inc. (NEWP) you will be responsible for scheduling and coordinating all logistics for outbound and inbound orders. At NEWP we have a Salesforce and client base across the country which means this job will require someone with great customer service experience to assist our team and our clients with many various needs. Our Logistics Team coordinates the shipments of both smaller projects and large roll outs. NEWP is a very fast paced and dynamic environment that requires a lot of teamwork, communication, and attention to detail.


Responsibilities:

  • Scheduling freight
  • Responsible for greeting shippers and maintaining the dock
  • Coordinating with production team when truck arrive
  • Answering client & sales questions
  • Helping the company build out a Customer Service function
  • Learning all of our major client’s key processes for shipments
  • Learning the ERP system and multiple shipping vendor sites
  • Managing the scheduling for large project roll outs
  • Requires daily paperwork and filing
  • Responsible for maintaining the shipping schedule with the team
  • Creation of BOL's, Labelling packages with the team and counting the loads on the truck for accuracy


Requirements:

  • Must have Logistics background in a manufacturing environment
  • Please keep in mind that at times, you will be expected to help with various other tasks called upon based on the current business cycle and volume
  • This is NOT remote, must be able to be in Leominster, MA daily
