We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Production Worker to join our steel processing operations at Heidtman Steel Company. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for operating various equipment, handling materials, and ensuring the efficient production of steel products.
Key Responsibilities- Operate forklifts, overhead cranes, and other equipment to move materials and products
- Handle and process steel materials, including cutting, slitting, and packaging
- Assist in maintaining a safe and clean work environment
- Collaborate with other team members to meet production goals and deadlines
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous experience in production, manufacturing, or material handling preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods
- Basic computer skills and ability to maintain production documents
- Availability to work a variety of shifts, including 2nd and 3rd shifts
- Competitive hourly rate of $20.51
- Shift premiums for 2nd and 3rd shifts
- Monthly production incentive bonus
- 40 hours of paid vacation time after 6 months of service
