Fortune Brands is seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Intelligence Systems Manager to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for managing the design, implementation, and deployment of Manufacturing Execution System (MES) solutions across our operations.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage the design, implementation, and deployment of MES solutions using various software tools.
- Translate user and business needs into scalable, traceable MES solutions.
- Architect and integrate systems to track and improve manufacturing processes.
- Design data management strategies for MES integration with ERP and plant automation.
- Develop business cases and manage multi-site rollouts as needed.
- Architect network infrastructure across plants and create scalable IT/OT systems.
- Build relationships with technology partners and operational teams.
- Establish an IIoT academy to enhance digital and analytical capabilities.
- Oversee engineering functions including process development, training, and capital projects.
- Manage, train, and manage the engineering team to meet company goals.
- Manage and approve the Capital Expenditure Budget.
- Provide strategic guidance to shape the future of the engineering function.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, MIS, or a related field.
- 5+ years managing teams delivering manufacturing solutions, including MES deployment.
- 5-10 years of experience in Project/Program Management for enterprise-wide solutions.
- 5-10 years of application development experience with a strong technical background.
- Experience managing technical teams and working with vendors.
- Strong understanding of database architectures.
- Willingness to travel up to 30% domestically and internationally.
- Management of proprietary and out of the box manufacturing execution systems and applications.
- Experience working in an SAP/Oracle environment.
