Responsibilities

  • Supporting the legal team in immigration law matters
  • Assisting in preparing and filing immigration court documents with precision
  • Representation in immigration court proceedings
  • Conducting research on immigration laws to strengthen legal arguments
  • Ensuring accurate and organized client files
  • Communicating updates to clients promptly and professionally
  • Providing translation and interpretation services as required
  • Staying informed about changes in immigration laws and regulations

Qualifications

  • Law Degree in the US
  • Active member of the state bar association
  • 2+ years of immigration law experience (removal defense)
  • Familiarity with immigration laws, regulations, and procedures
  • Fluency in English and Spanish with excellent written and verbal skills
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in document management
  • Proficient in legal research and database usage
  • Strong interpersonal skills and team player attitude
  • Computer proficiency for legal purposes
  • Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and self-motivation
