About the Role

Wagmo is seeking a seasoned marketing professional to lead our B2B marketing efforts. As the Director of Business-to-Business Marketing, you will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive marketing strategy that drives growth and engagement among our employer partners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a B2B marketing roadmap that positions Wagmo as a valuable voluntary benefit for employers
  • Create and execute a playbook to drive marketing programs that increase corporate adoption of plans as employee benefits
  • Boost engagement among our customers' employees
  • Manage the marketing budget, allocating resources for maximum ROI
  • Lead content strategy and brand voice, focusing on website, blogs, podcasts, and other channels
  • Oversee field marketing strategy, including conferences and events
  • Collaborate with executive team to prepare for events and speaking engagements
  • Use analytics to gather insights aimed at refining lead generation, conversion, and engagement marketing programs
  • Deliver regular reports to the executive team on key marketing performance, pacing updates, and test results
  • Stay updated on effective tactics, tools, and partners to improve conversions, retention, and product uptake
  • Monitor industry trends and apply insights to develop innovative marketing approaches
  • Manage external agencies and partners to maximize impact and drive accountability of results
Requirements
  • 7+ years of B2B Marketing experience, with strong proficiency in B2B2C marketing programs and strategies
  • Experience in a high-growth startup environment
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful brand awareness campaigns that target employers
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and shape compelling content strategies aligned with brand voice, engaging target audiences through LinkedIn, blogs, podcasts, and company website
  • Expertise in creating marketing materials and strategies that effectively communicate product value propositions for diverse buyers/stakeholders/audiences
  • Experience building B2B marketing functions and/or strategies from early stages
  • Proficiency in account-based marketing (ABM)
  • Successful history of developing and delivering go-to-market plans
  • Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with product, sales, and customer success teams
  • Strong executive presence, communicating with passion and creative thinking
  • Self-starter capable of juggling multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic, and often ambiguous environment
  • Problem-solving aptitude with the ability to craft strategic and tactical solutions
  • Data-driven decision-making approach focused on customer needs
  • Not afraid to get your hands dirty with day-to-day tasks to get things done
