Ozarks Technical Community College is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to serve as the Director of Student Success and Operations. This leadership position will be responsible for overseeing the operations of the Student Success Centers at the OTC Lebanon, Waynesville, and Republic Centers.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise daily operations of Student Success teams at each OTC Center.
- Collaborate with the Student Success leadership team to identify best practices and develop ongoing updates to processes for Student Success work across the college system.
- Build relationships with campus and center administration, department chairs, and faculty to provide meaningful, accurate, and timely support to students.
- Evaluate Admissions Counselor and College Navigator progress at OTC Centers in meeting key performance metrics and provide coaching for underperforming employees.
- Coordinate monthly priorities and data metrics for Admissions Counselors at each Student Success Center, including career exploration, FAFSA completion, orientation completion, and registration for classes.
- Coordinate monthly priorities and data metrics for College Navigators at each Student Success Center, including long-term goal planning, financial planning, academic planning, and referral to academic and non-academic resources.
- Collaborate with the Director of Waynesville and Fort Leonard Wood Education Centers to provide student onboarding, advising, enrollment support at Fort Leonard Wood.
- Assist with the development and maintenance of Student Success training materials and technical assistance documents.
- Work with the Coordinator of Student Affairs Training & Development to train and onboard new Student Success team members and coordinate ongoing professional development for the Student Success department.
- Exhibit exemplary attendance and punctuality.
- Comply with college policies and procedures.
- Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited institution of higher learning.
- Prior leadership and supervisory experience.
- One year of experience in case management, advising, training, or relevant experience.
- Prior experience using data to evaluate and make changes to operations.
- Ability to switch between interpersonal skills and data management quickly and often.
- Ability to work well with others.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Master's degree from a regionally accredited institution of higher learning.
- Three years of leadership and supervisory experience.
- Experience in student services including career exploration, financial aid, and academic planning.
- Experience tracking metrics and working with key performance indicators.
- Experience working within a collegiate setting.
- Experience with Colleague.
