- Conduct thorough interviews with patients to gather medical history and physical condition, and record accurate information.
- Obtain and record patient vital signs, including pulse, blood pressure, temperature, and respiration.
- Provide routine care for patients, including administering medications and performing standard diagnostic procedures.
- Monitor patients' health and review medical charts to ensure accurate and up-to-date information.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Assist physicians and registered nurses in providing comprehensive patient care.
- Perform a range of diagnostic procedures, including EKG, phlebotomy, venipuncture, PFT, and Doppler.
- Prepare and administer injections and/or enemas as needed.
- Provide wound care and assist with patient comfort.
- Monitor catheters and ensure proper function.
