Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our team at Mercy Clinic - Pulmonology. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist physicians and office staff with various duties, including clerical processing, patient preparation, scheduling, lab, x-ray, and medical records.
  • Perform patient care activities consistent with established standards of nursing practice.
  • Carry out responsibilities and integrate the Mercy Philosophy of caring for the sick and suffering, respect for human life, and dignity of each person.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, visitors, and employees in a caring, friendly, personal, and professional manner.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or GED
  • Certification: Must obtain BLS Certification within 90 days of hire.
  • Preferred Experience: 6 months of clinical healthcare experience.
