Role Overview:

As the Clinical Operations Manager, you will oversee the daily management of clinic activities at our research site. Your responsibilities will include supervising patient appointments, scheduling, ensuring quality documentation, and adhering to research protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of healthcare professionals conducting clinical trials.
  • Manage Clinical Research Coordinators, focusing on their professional development, scheduling, performance evaluations, and productivity.
  • Recruit and train new team members as needed to support our growing operations.
  • Ensure strict compliance with clinical trial protocols at all times.
  • Maintain effective communication with physicians regarding their schedules and patient trial information.
  • Address and resolve any patient-related concerns in collaboration with physicians and coordinators.
  • Engage with external clients about site visits and the quality of data collected during trials.
  • Optimize scheduling to maximize community outreach and participation.
  • Contribute to achieving regional profitability and revenue targets.
  • Prepare for new clinical research studies, typically onboarding 1-2 new studies monthly.
  • Participate in Investigator Meetings to gain insights into upcoming clinical studies (travel expenses covered).

Essential Qualifications:

  • Required: Prior experience in a clinical, hospital, or healthcare environment.
  • Preferred: At least 6 months of management or supervisory experience in healthcare or customer service.
  • Preferred: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution, Registered Nurse (R.N.), Licensed Practical Nurse (L.P.N.), Medical Assistant, Radiology Technician, Respiratory Therapist, or Physical Therapist.
  • Clinical research experience is not mandatory; comprehensive training will be provided.
  • Entry-level managers are encouraged to apply, as robust management training is available.
  • Coffee enthusiasts are preferred; tea drinkers are welcome.
