NICU Charge Nurse

As a NICU Charge Nurse at Swedish Health Services, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and leading a team of dedicated nurses. This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of our patients and their families.
Key Responsibilities:- Coordinate patient care activities on the nursing unit, providing immediate clinical oversight of staff members.
- Assess, identify, and prioritize patient care needs, making adjustments to patient assignments as necessary.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate patient care plans to achieve optimal outcomes and transitions across the care continuum.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care and address patient needs.
- Lead and coordinate department activities, delegating tasks and responsibilities to staff members as needed.
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
- Washington Registered Nurse License upon hire.
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
- National Provider NRP - American Academy of Pediatrics upon hire.
- 1 year - NICU Nursing experience with demonstrated leadership abilities.
- National Certification in area of specialty is preferred upon hire, unless otherwise indicated.
