NICU Charge Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced NICU Charge Nurse to join our team at Swedish First Hill. As a Charge Nurse, you will be responsible for coordinating patient care activities on the nursing unit, providing immediate clinical oversight of staff members, and ensuring that all daily departmental activities are completed.
Key Responsibilities- Assess, identify, and prioritize patient care needs, developing and implementing individualized plans of care to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care, including communication with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals.
- Supervise and delegate tasks to nursing staff, ensuring that all patients receive high-quality, evidence-based care.
- Monitor and maintain accurate records of patient care, including vital signs, medication administration, and treatment plans.
- Participate in performance improvement activities, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to enhance patient care and safety.
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
- Current Washington State Registered Nurse License.
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association certification.
- National Provider NRP - American Academy of Pediatrics certification.
- At least one year of NICU nursing experience with demonstrated leadership abilities.
