NICU Charge Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced NICU Charge Nurse to join our team at Swedish First Hill. As a Charge Nurse, you will play a critical role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and leading a team of dedicated nurses.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate patient care activities on the nursing unit, providing immediate clinical oversight of staff members.
- Assess, identify, and prioritize patient care needs, making adjustments to patient care assignments as necessary.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate patient care plans to achieve optimal outcomes and transitions across the care continuum.
- Advocate for patients and families, ensuring their autonomy, dignity, and rights are respected.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care and address patient needs.
- Lead and coordinate department activities, delegating tasks and responsibilities to team members as needed.
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
- Washington Registered Nurse License upon hire.
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
- National Provider NRP - American Academy of Pediatrics upon hire.
- 1 year - NICU Nursing experience with demonstrated leadership abilities.
