NICU Charge Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced NICU Charge Registered Nurse to join our team at Swedish First Hill. As a Charge RN, you will play a critical role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and leading our nursing team in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.
Key Responsibilities- Provide clinical leadership and oversight to the NICU nursing team, ensuring that patients receive safe and effective care.
- Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
- Coordinate patient care activities, including medication administration, wound care, and vital sign monitoring.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care.
- Participate in performance improvement initiatives and quality improvement projects to enhance patient outcomes and nursing practice.
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
- Washington Registered Nurse License upon hire.
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
- National Provider NRP - American Academy of Pediatrics upon hire.
- 1 year - NICU Nursing experience with demonstrated leadership abilities.
