Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team as a Staff Development/Infection Control RN at Linwood Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. As a key member of our collaborative team, you will be responsible for assisting and guiding our nursing facility and employees in infection prevention and control practices, as well as coordinating and delivering staff development, training, and orientation programs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist and guide the nursing facility and employees in infection prevention and control practices, adhering to CDC recommendations and State and Federal regulations.
  • Coordinate and deliver staff development, training, and orientation programs to ensure high-quality patient care and nursing services.
  • Collaborate with the nursing team to develop and implement policies and procedures related to infection control and staff development.
  • Provide education and training to employees on infection control practices and procedures.
  • Conduct audits and assessments to ensure compliance with infection control regulations and standards.

Requirements

  • Valid RN license in good standing.
  • Strong knowledge of infection control practices and procedures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including on-call rotations.
