Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Traffic Safety Specialist to join our team at Traffic Plan. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe movement of traffic through construction sites.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Control the movement of vehicular traffic to prevent accidents and injuries to workers.
  • Distribute traffic control signs and markers along the site in a designated pattern.
  • Use sign, hand, and flag signals to control traffic through the site.
  • Warn construction workers when approaching vehicles fail to heed signals to prevent accidents and injuries.
  • Inform drivers of detour routes through construction sites.
  • Drive company trucks as needed.
Requirements:
  • Must have a reliable personal vehicle.
  • Must have a valid PA driver's license.
  • Must pass a drug test (includes marijuana).
  • Comfortable standing 8-12 hours a day in any kind of weather.
  • Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk, hear, and understand the English language.
