Key Responsibilities:
  • Control the movement of vehicular traffic to prevent accidents and injuries to workers.
  • Distribute traffic control signs and markers along the site in a designated pattern.
  • Use sign, hand, and flag signals to control traffic through the site.
  • Warn construction workers when approaching vehicles fail to heed signals to prevent accidents and injuries.
  • Inform drivers of detour routes through construction sites.
  • Drive company trucks as needed.
Requirements:
  • Must have a reliable personal vehicle.
  • Must have a valid PA driver's license.
  • Must pass a drug test (includes marijuana).
  • Comfortable standing 8-12 hours a day in any kind of weather.
  • Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk, hear, and understand the English language.

From designing and submitting traffic plan requests to jobsite setup and maintenance of traffic in and around construction sites, you can count on Traffic Plan to protect your workers, equipment, and the general public in a safe and professional manner.
