Job Summary

The Mental Health Association is seeking a dedicated and compassionate MICA Case Manager to join our Partial Care - Prospect House Team. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing partial care services to individuals with severe and persistent mental illness, enhancing community functioning, and promoting relapse prevention and independent living.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate MICA groups and plan and implement milieu activities, including therapy, coping, activity, and psycho-educational groups.
  • Collaborate with members and staff to accomplish psycho-social goals and tasks of the unit.
  • Provide milieu management, crisis intervention, and case management services for members.
  • Assist and advocate for members to obtain medical records, entitlements, and other necessary services.
  • Consult regularly with Prospect House program psychiatrists and participate in unit trips, including van driving.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a human services field.
  • At least one year of related experience, with two years of experience in providing co-occurring services preferred.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to drive a van required.
