Job Title: Hematology Advanced Practice Provider

Rush University System for Health is seeking a highly skilled Hematology Advanced Practice Provider to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care, education, and support to patients and families affected by hematological disorders.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide comprehensive patient care, including history and physical examinations, diagnostic testing, and treatment planning.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Conduct educational sessions for patients, families, and healthcare professionals on hematological disorders and treatment options.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
Requirements:
  • Current State of Illinois Physician Assistant Licensure.
  • Current Certification from National Certification Commission for Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
  • Master's or Doctorate degree in nursing.
  • Experience in hematology or a related field.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in a related field.
  • Experience in a hospital or clinical setting.
  • Knowledge of hematological disorders and treatment options.
