Project Manager Job Description

Positive Energy Solar is seeking a highly organized and communicative Project Manager to oversee the installation of residential solar projects. The ideal candidate will have experience in project management, construction contracts, and subcontractor relationships.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate with customers, subcontractors, and internal staff to ensure timely project completion.
  • Manage project schedules, budgets, and resources to deliver high-quality results.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to resolve issues and ensure smooth project execution.
  • Use project management software to track project progress and provide visibility to relevant parties.
  • Lead the coordination and scheduling of site surveys, subcontractor work, and installations.
  • Facilitate approvals from HOAs and local jurisdictions to ensure compliance.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with utility companies and permitting agencies.
  • Continuously seek opportunities to improve processes and increase efficiency.
Qualifications:
  • Project management experience with a focus on construction and solar energy.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of PV solar and construction contracts.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Strong computer skills and proficiency in project management software.
