The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical design and engineering, with experience in solar, data centers, automation, energy storage, controls, and project management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage internal and external teams and vendors on various projects
  • Schedule and budget electrical design projects
  • Read and review electrical engineering plans
  • Develop and implement strategies to design, develop, and manage solar, electrical, and data center projects
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure successful completion of projects
  • Collaborate with other departments to achieve desired outcomes
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to team members
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable codes and regulations
  • Stay apprised of industry best practices and standards

Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of experience in solar, electrical, and data center engineering
  • Data center experience - building/designing
  • Cooling systems experience - DC power/high voltage (850v) experience
  • Solar engineering/designing or implementing
  • Construction project management experience
  • SCADA systems familiarity
  • Knowledge of control/automation software: C, Java, Python
  • Bachelor's Degree or above in Electrical Engineering or related field
  • Ability to travel 1 week every 3 weeks to project site if not relocating
