The CIB Banking COO Office is pivotal in driving business execution and formulating strategies that support our bankers and executives across various sectors, including Consumer & Retail, Healthcare, Energy & Power, Financial Institutions, Industrials, Technology, Media & Telecommunications, Real Estate, Gaming, Lodging & Leisure, and Regional Investment Banking, as well as product lines such as M&A, DCM, and ECM.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategically execute headcount and staffing models for the Corporate & Investment Bank, ensuring alignment with multi-year forecasts that benchmark against internal targets and competitor metrics.
- Collaborate with essential partners in HR and Finance to support human capital planning and engagement initiatives.
- Model and forecast headcount levels, banker performance, promotions, and attrition rates.
- Work closely with the COO of CIB Human Capital to implement the above priorities across CIB Banking with their Group Heads, Product Heads, and COOs.
- Manage workload effectively with peers, both domestically and internationally, to deliver timely outputs in the dynamic environment of corporate and investment banking.
- Essential skills include: data analysis, financial modeling, integrating data/financial analysis into executive-level presentations, and familiarity with HR systems and internal financial reporting BI tools.
- 4+ years of experience in Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning, or equivalent demonstrated through a combination of work experience, training, military experience, or education.
- In-depth knowledge of Corporate & Investment Banking.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Proficiency in manipulating data sets (BI Tools, Pivot Tables, Macros).
- Ability to make timely and independent decisions in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.
- Experience in Investment Banking, HR, Analytics, and/or Finance.
- Expertise in problem analysis, solution implementation, and change management.
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Understanding of strategic planning and execution.
- Capability to articulate issues, risks, and proposed solutions to various organizational levels.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment, demonstrating flexibility, collaboration, and adaptability.
- This position supports a hybrid work schedule.
- Willingness to work additional hours as necessary.
- Visa sponsorship is not available for this role.
- Compensation is competitive and reflects the base pay range for this position.
