Qualifications:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate testing as directed by the physician, providing patients with clear instructions regarding the procedures.
  • Complete order forms and secure precertification for the scheduled tests.
  • Verify patient insurance details.
  • Contact patients to confirm their appointments.
  • Process insurance and physician referrals efficiently.
  • Comply with HIPAA regulations concerning protected health information (PHI).
  • Maintain an electronic record of scheduled tests and referrals to promote patient adherence.
  • Scan and organize documents into patient files.
  • Communicate instructions from the physician to patients and document these communications in the patient's medical record.
  • Provide patients with information about general office procedures.
