LeadStack Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Patient Access Representative to serve as the primary point of contact for access to our academic medical centers and Health Sciences Campus.
Key Responsibilities- Communication and Coordination: Answer, screen, and direct incoming and outgoing telephone calls, electronic messages, and other web-based communications using a call management system.
- Information Management: Respond to basic inquiries and refer other inquiries to appropriate medical personnel.
- Message Distribution: Contact and distribute messages to medical personnel using various electronic methods, including text, voice, and email systems.
- Scheduling and Registration: Schedule and confirm initial and follow-up medical appointments, register patients, and verify insurance coverage to advise patients of any estimated financial responsibility.
- Data Management: Perform data entry, ensure data integrity, and reconcile as needed.
- Experience: Minimum two (2) years of experience working in a CALL CENTER, customer service, and Healthcare department/environment.
- Education: Vocational certificates in healthcare preferred: appointment scheduling, registration, insurance verification, medical assistant. Associate or bachelors degree in healthcare, business, or operations field strongly preferred.
