Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Specialist to join our team. As a Sales Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and executing a sales plan to meet and exceed quarterly and annual sales targets. You will work closely with our Field Application Scientists, Scientific Inside Sales Specialists, and Service Sales Specialists to maintain and grow our territory.

Key Responsibilities
  • Meet and/or exceed quarterly and annual sales targets through development and execution of a region and account-specific sales plan
  • Successfully navigate and manage complex sales negotiations
  • Demonstrate command of scientific knowledge to engage in consultative sales processes
  • Facilitate resolution of customer issues by demonstrating a strong broad base of knowledge in business processes, PNI solutions, and domain expertise
  • Provide regular accurate sales forecasts, sales pipeline management activities, organize/maintain account and customer contact management in CRM system
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a Life Sciences discipline
  • 33+ years of experience in the biotechnology industry or related industry
  • 3+ years of experience in a commercial role, preferably in the biotechnology industry or related experience
  • Demonstrated ability to work directly with customers at all organizational levels, from Process Development scientist to CEO and CFO
  • Demonstrated aptitude towards the selling process and a proven team player
Preferred Qualifications
  • Demonstrated understanding of nano-particle applications and PNI technologies
  • Experience working in a matrix environment and managing multiple priorities through successful execution
  • Success in cross-functional collaboration
About the Role

This is a remote work arrangement, and you will be working from home. We offer a comprehensive package of benefits, including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, and 401(k) to eligible employees.

The salary range for this role is $100,000 to $125,000. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
