Position Details:

Role Responsibilities:

  • Formulate solutions for production challenges related to manufacturing processes, ensuring compliance with cost and specification standards.
  • Assist in detail parts manufacturing and assembly operations, conducting root cause analysis and implementing corrective measures.
  • Create documentation and procedures to satisfy customer and regulatory standards, addressing issues concerning materials, processes, and tooling.
  • Interpret engineering drawings, serving as a liaison among design engineering, tooling, machine shop, quality assurance, and production teams, while analyzing statistical data such as process capability studies and throughput rates.
  • Provide technical assistance, enhance manufacturing operations, and ensure adherence to HACI standards.
  • Additional responsibilities include preparing and updating production plans, aiding in BOM identification and management, and overseeing tooling requests and discrepancy reports.

Essential Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in manufacturing engineering or a related discipline preferred
  • Six Sigma training is a plus
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in the aerospace industry
  • Strong understanding of engineering drawings and specifications
  • Proficient in SAP, CAD/CAM, CATIA, and Microsoft Office
  • Experience with nonconformance resolution, resource optimization, and efficiency enhancements
  • Ability to create and revise planning and routings, assess process improvements, and ensure engineering configuration accuracy through MBOM transactions
