Process Development Support Specialist

Actalent is seeking a highly skilled Process Development Support Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our quality team, you will be responsible for coordinating activities associated with Process Quality Engineering activities related to procedures and Quality Systems. This role requires a strong understanding of quality standards and production requirements for parts and equipment used in aircraft engines.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate with multiple departments to create and revise procedural documentation related to general quality system processes, with focus on manufacturing processes including implementation of process failure modes and effects analysis and measurement system analysis to confirm inspection capability
Facilitate connection of project teams to quality system, by helping teams to understand quality systems requirements and helping teams to get project data set-up for long-term execution and monitoring
Perform risk assessments to help to prioritize corrective and mitigating actions related to product safety, including execution of PFMEA on existing and emerging processes
Independently perform internal quality system audits and audits of special processes
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in engineering, or applicable work experience
Minimum of three (3) to five (5) years of experience in manufacturing quality role, with aerospace preferred
Advanced understanding of risk analysis techniques, including PFMEA
Understanding of machining and inspection processes and proven ability to implement and sustain statistical process controls
Knowledge of AS9100 and AS13100 Quality Standard requirements
Knowledge of 14CFR Part 21 and Part 145 requirements, preferred
Proven ability with written communication, including technical writing and presentations
Experience with Microsoft Office products
Experience with ERP and MES products, with IFS and/or Solumina preferred
