Senior Vice President of Sales and Business Development

Ultralife Corporation seeks a seasoned sales leader to drive commercial growth and expansion of its Battery and Energy Products business. The ideal candidate will possess a strong track record of success in sales and marketing, with a proven ability to develop and execute strategic plans to drive revenue growth.
The Senior Vice President of Sales and Business Development will be responsible for leading the global commercial sales and marketing efforts, focusing on key market segments, new product development, and strategic partnerships. This role requires a customer-focused leader with excellent managerial, organizational, and planning skills, as well as the ability to concisely summarize strategy and action plans for key transactions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic plans to drive commercial growth and expansion of the Battery and Energy Products business
- Lead the global commercial sales and marketing efforts, focusing on key market segments, new product development, and strategic partnerships
- Manage a team of sales professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and development opportunities to ensure success
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement sales strategies and tactics
- Monitor and analyze sales performance, identifying areas for improvement and developing corrective actions
- Travel up to 50% of the time to meet with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders
Requirements:
- 10+ years of experience in sales and marketing, with a proven track record of success in driving revenue growth
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team of sales professionals
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders
- Ability to analyze complex data and develop actionable insights to inform sales strategies and tactics
- Strong business acumen, with a deep understanding of the sales and marketing landscape
Education:
Bachelor's degree in business management or equivalent, with an MBA preferred
