Job Overview

The Property Leasing Specialist plays a crucial role in managing rental properties by effectively promoting and filling vacancies, negotiating lease agreements, and ensuring the security and maintenance of the premises. Key Responsibilities
  • Attract Tenants: Promote available units through various advertising channels and gather referrals from current residents.
  • Conduct Tours: Meet with prospective tenants and provide guided tours of available properties.
  • Customer Service: Address the needs and concerns of current and potential residents to ensure satisfaction.
  • Tenant Screening: Perform thorough screening of applicants and maintain communication records.
  • Lease Negotiation: Draft and negotiate lease agreements, including security deposits and pet policies.
  • Property Maintenance: Investigate and resolve tenant complaints while enforcing occupancy rules.
  • Building Systems Management: Coordinate maintenance services and repairs for property upkeep.
  • Emergency Response: Implement precautionary measures and respond to emergencies effectively.
  • Move-In/Out Inspections: Conduct inspections for tenants moving in and out of the property.
  • Damage Billing: Assess and bill tenants for any damages incurred during their tenancy.
  • Revenue Enhancement: Develop strategies to increase revenue and reduce operational costs.
  • Tenant Recruitment: Identify and pursue opportunities to attract new tenants.
  • Community Engagement: Collaborate with local businesses to enhance tenant experience.
  • Reporting: Prepare detailed reports by analyzing data and identifying trends.
  • Professional Development: Stay updated on industry knowledge through educational opportunities and professional networking.
Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • 3-5 years of experience in a customer service role or 1-2 years as a Leasing Agent.
  • Exceptional communication and sales abilities.
  • A solid understanding of real estate terminology and leasing practices.
  • Familiarity with both social media and traditional marketing channels.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Bluebeam.
  • The ability to work flexible hours and respond to emergency calls.
  • A valid driver's license and insurance.
