Job Summary:
Life Unlimited Inc is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Intake Manager to oversee the referral and intake process for individuals interested in our services. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring a smooth transition into our agency, coordinating residential placements, and maintaining accurate documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the referral and intake process to ensure timely placement of individuals in settings of their choice.
- Oversee all aspects of the intake process, including residential placements and transitions.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation, including intake packets and residential placement records.
- Collaborate with Program Managers, Support Coordinators, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless transitions and high-quality services.
- Develop and maintain relationships with individuals, families, and guardians to ensure their needs are met and they feel supported throughout the transition process.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and accreditation standards.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or 8 years of experience working with individuals with disabilities.
- Five to ten years of experience in a related field, preferably in a leadership or management role.
- Parent or close family member to someone with a developmental disability is highly preferred.
- Ability to obtain and maintain training and certification in all required areas, including Abuse/Neglect, CPR, First Aid, and Level I Medication Administration.
- Class E driver's license and minimum auto insurance coverage.
- Seasonal flu vaccination.
Working Conditions:
This position requires extended periods of sitting, with some walking and standing. May require lifting, bending, kneeling, and/or stooping, as well as occasional climbing of stairs. May be exposed to bloodborne pathogens and/or infectious diseases. Office/home environment with office equipment and telephones.
