Health Information Management Lead Associate

We are seeking a highly skilled Health Information Management Lead Associate to join our team at Penn State Health. This role will oversee the flow of work in Release of Information, Document Imaging, Word Processing, and/or the file area of HIS, providing oversight, corrective action, and mentoring for all front-line staff.

- Provide oversight, corrective action, and mentoring for all front-line staff
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve efficiency and quality
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of services
- High School Graduate or equivalent
- Minimum three (3) years of experience in a healthcare setting with medical record experience required
- Leadership or supervisory experience
- Health Information Management credentials including a Registered Health Information Technology [RHIT] degree preferred
