Role Overview:
As an Onsite Customer Support Specialist, you will engage directly with taxpayers, providing essential information regarding the Property Tax Relief programs. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring clear communication and assistance to individuals navigating these services.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Taxpayer Communication:
- Respond to inquiries related to Property Tax Relief.
- Provide guidance on filing deadlines and eligibility criteria.
- Assist callers in understanding the application process and maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information.
2. Application Management:
- Review taxpayer applications for accuracy and completeness.
- Address and rectify errors in submitted applications through effective problem-solving techniques.
3. Record Adjustment:
- Facilitate the filing process by communicating necessary information to taxpayers.
- Assist in updating taxpayer records and ordering application materials as needed.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma required.
- Successful completion of New Jersey Department of Revenue assessments.
- Proficiency in PC operations within a Windows environment.
- Basic keyboarding skills and prior experience in customer service or sales are preferred.
