Team Overview

Pendo is looking for a Financial Operations Associate to become a part of the Corporate Accounting division. Reporting directly to the Corporate Accounting Manager, this position will assist with expense management, including Accounts Payable and Corporate Travel & Expense functions. This role is pivotal, as it will interact with various departments as they manage their expenses.

This position will also involve regular communication with external vendors to clarify any inquiries regarding account balances and payment statuses.

Key Responsibilities


1. Match invoices with purchase orders, input invoice information into the accounting system, and ensure amounts align with vendor-provided documentation.

2. Provide payment confirmations and details to vendors upon request.
3. Review expense reports to verify adherence to company policies.
4. Guide employees on travel arrangements and expense reimbursement inquiries.
5. Analyze expense data and generate reports for month-end processes.
6. Prepare month-end closing journal entries and reconciliations.
7. Uphold internal controls and offer audit support as needed.

Minimum Qualifications

- Associate's degree in Accounting, Business, or Finance.
- Familiarity with accounting terminology and procedures.

Preferred Qualifications

- At least one (1) year of experience in an accounting or finance-related position (including internship experience).

- Proficient with software tools such as Excel, Google Sheets, online banking platforms (JP Morgan is a plus), FloQast (a plus), and/or Workday (a plus).

- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate across various departments and locations.
- Exceptional attention to detail, highly organized, and adept at problem-solving.

Compensation Overview


Our salary ranges are designed to be competitive within our industry and reflect our company size. This is just one aspect of the overall compensation, benefits, and rewards we offer.

The anticipated salary range for this role is between $50,400 - $60,000 USD.

Individual salary decisions, including offers made within or above the expected salary range, will consider various factors such as qualifications, experience, skillset, and internal equity among peers.
