Financial Operations Manager

Alfred Williams & Company is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented controller to join our team. As a key member of our financial leadership team, the controller will report to the Chief Financial Officer.
The controller will be responsible for overseeing all accounting operations, ensuring compliance with GAAP standards, and providing critical financial insights to support the company's strategic decision-making.
This role offers the opportunity to lead financial reporting, manage audits, and contribute to long-term financial planning and growth strategies.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements following GAAP standards.
- Analyze financial data and prepare reports for senior management.
- Identify and communicate economic trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
- Manage all aspects of the organization's accounting processes, including accounts receivable and accounts payable.
- Coordinate with external auditors to ensure overall organization policies and procedures compliance.
- Develop and maintain internal control systems to ensure the accuracy of financial reporting.
- Identify areas of improvement in the accounting process and make appropriate recommendations.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve financial operations' overall efficiency and effectiveness.
- Assist in evaluating the financial impact of business initiatives and investments and contribute to long-term financial planning and growth strategies.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field, preferred.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license.
- Proven experience (5+ years) in public accounting and as a controller or in a similar financial leadership role.
- Advanced knowledge of GAAP principles and regulations.
- Significant experience with the audit of financial statements.
- Working knowledge of accounting software.
- Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Adaptable and can handle stressful situations with professionalism.
- Proven ability to maintain confidential information.
