Position Overview
Our Los Angeles office is in search of a dynamic, innovative, and highly collaborative individual to join our team as a Marketing Coordinator. This role will involve partnering with our workplace and brand design practice areas.

Key Responsibilities
As a Marketing Coordinator, you will be instrumental in producing materials that bolster Gensler's business development initiatives. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Collaborating with office leadership, senior staff, and marketing colleagues to craft, design, and produce proposals, presentations, and other marketing collateral.
  • Leading strategic positioning activities within the marketing studio, including developing strategies, creating speaking engagement presentations, writing project case studies, coordinating photography, and managing graphic design of materials.
  • Participating in and leading pursuit strategy and planning sessions.
  • Creating new materials to support business development efforts, with a strong focus on graphic design capabilities.
  • Managing multiple marketing initiatives while adhering to deadlines.
  • Gaining a comprehensive understanding of Gensler's portfolio, practice areas, and capabilities.
  • Maintaining marketing resources and information systems.
  • Collaborating with other marketing team members on special projects to enhance the quality of our initiatives.

Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in a marketing role within a design or professional services environment.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Business, Architecture, Interior Design, Graphic Design, Communications, or Marketing.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Creative and impactful graphic design abilities, particularly in creating effective presentations and marketing materials.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
  • A self-motivated attitude with excellent interpersonal skills, and a collaborative spirit.
  • Proficiency in InDesign is essential, along with familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
