About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Administrative Coordinator to join our team at the American Academy of Neurology. As an Administrative Coordinator, Science and Research, you will play a vital role in supporting our scientific research and academic pursuits.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to our research team, including coordinating research efforts and supporting academic activities.
  • Ensure the smooth operation of projects, including managing projects, coordinating with team members, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including researchers, academics, and industry partners.
  • Provide high-level administrative support to senior leaders, including preparing reports, presentations, and other materials.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records, including databases, spreadsheets, and other documentation.
  • Develop and implement administrative processes and procedures to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with other teams to achieve organizational goals and objectives.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in an administrative role, preferably in a research or academic setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
