Job Title: Navigation Program Manager

Cocoon House is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Navigation Program Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Navigation program, you will play a critical role in supporting young adults ages 18-24 to prevent and resolve homelessness.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the Coordinated Entry team and ensure the appropriate use of client flex funds.
  • Maintain a small caseload of young adults and provide case management to connect households to resources and housing.
  • Collaborate with other Cocoon House programs, law enforcement, resource centers, schools, churches, detention centers, and other organizations to identify and target young adults and families needing applicable services.
  • Support the development of the Snohomish County Youth and Young Adult Coordinated Entry system, including creating and maintaining a sustainable regional CE structure.
  • Attend meetings with the County and partner agencies to maintain communication, stay current on funding requirements, and coordinate efficient service delivery.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum of one year of experience working directly with young adults experiencing homelessness or any combination of experience and education that support the needs of the position.
  • Preference will be given to candidates with lived experience.
  • Strong and effective communication skills to foster open, trusting relationships with clients served as well as other Cocoon House staff, service partners, and donors at all levels.
  • Must be proficient in crisis intervention/de-escalation to provide proper care to youth and young adults who are experiencing trauma or are in crisis.
  • Ability to effectively assess situations and access emergency services when appropriate.
  • Must be 21 years of age or older.
  • Possess a valid Washington State driver's license, insurance, and reliable transportation.
  • Clear background check with DCYF.

Compensation:

$24-$27 hourly wage, with an additional $1.50 hourly pay differential for multi-lingual skills.
