Job Title: Navigation Program Manager

Cocoon House is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Navigation Program Manager to support our Navigation program, working with young adults ages 18-24 to prevent and resolve homelessness. This role leads the Coordinated Entry team and SDG Prevention Navigator, maintaining a small caseload of young adults while monitoring and ensuring the appropriate use of client flex funds.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the Coordinated Entry team and SDG Prevention Navigator, ensuring timely responses to referrals and effective case management.
  • Collaborate with program staff and agency leadership to ensure accurate and grant-eligible distribution of funds.
  • Support staff through challenging situations and help identify and implement creative resolutions to homelessness.
  • Develop and maintain a sustainable regional Coordinated Entry structure, working with the County and partner agencies to ensure efficient service delivery.
  • Meet with young adults experiencing homelessness throughout Snohomish County to enroll in Coordinated Entry, maintaining a small caseload and providing case management to connect households to resources and housing.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED required, with a minimum of one year of experience working directly with young adults experiencing homelessness or any combination of experience and education that supports the needs of the position.
  • Spanish-speaking/multi-lingual preferred.
  • Strong and effective communication skills to foster open, trusting relationships with clients served and other Cocoon House staff, service partners, and donors at all levels.
  • Must be proficient in crisis intervention/de-escalation to provide proper care to youth and young adults who are experiencing trauma or are in crisis.
  • Possess a valid Washington State driver's license, insurance, and reliable transportation.
  • Clear background check with DCYF.
