The beach areas offer a variety of amenities including swim areas, bars, cabanas, and a casual dining venue, creating a vibrant atmosphere for guests. We are assembling a dedicated team to bring these unique experiences to life and are looking for individuals eager to contribute to this exciting resort journey.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver exceptional guest service in dining areas, beach locations, and cabanas.
- Create a welcoming environment by engaging with guests and addressing their needs promptly.
- Anticipate guest requirements and provide additional service as needed.
- Offer insightful recommendations on beverage selections and menu items.
- Customize food and drink orders to accommodate guests' preferences and dietary needs.
- Accurately record food and beverage orders, ensuring all special requests are noted.
- Address guest complaints or concerns with professionalism, seeking solutions to enhance their experience.
- Serve a diverse range of cocktails, wines, and non-alcoholic beverages with precision.
- Adhere to standardized recipes and techniques to maintain beverage quality.
- Creatively garnish drinks to enhance presentation.
- Maintain a clean and organized service station, including restocking supplies as necessary.
- Ensure all glassware and utensils are clean and in good condition.
- Comply with all relevant regulations for food and beverage service.
- Stay informed about menu offerings, including ingredients and preparation methods.
- Keep up with current trends in mixology and beverage culture.
- Educate guests on the history and characteristics of various drinks.
- Coordinate with kitchen and wait staff for seamless service and timely order delivery.
- Assist in training new staff members as needed.
- Promote special drinks and offerings as directed by management.
- Complete opening and closing duties, including setting up supplies and cleaning work areas.
- Provide information about resort amenities and activities to guests.
- Handle cash and credit transactions accurately.
- Engage in training opportunities to enhance beverage knowledge and customer service skills.
- Foster a positive guest-focused environment.
- Respond to guest inquiries and resolve issues efficiently.
- Maintain a professional appearance and adhere to safety policies.
- Monitor guest needs and collaborate with other departments to provide additional services.
- Assist with maintaining cleanliness in the bayside area.
- Perform other assigned duties as necessary.
- High School Diploma.
- 2-4 years of experience in hospitality or customer service, preferably in a resort setting.
- Knowledge of alcoholic beverages and upselling techniques.
- Basic understanding of food and beverage items.
- Physical ability to carry trays and stand for extended periods.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
- Familiarity with POS systems and basic math skills.
- Food and safety certifications as required.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven time management and organizational skills.
