Job Title: Clinical Support Coordinator

Job Summary:
Indiana Donor Network is seeking a Clinical Support Coordinator to play a vital role in the organ and tissue donation process. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for obtaining informed authorization and conducting comprehensive medical and social history risk assessments with families of patients who authorize donation.

Key Responsibilities:
Obtain informed telephone authorization and comprehensive medical and social history risk assessment with families of patients who authorize donation.
Work with clinicians to perform medical screenings on patients.
Execute all elements of case coordination for tissue cases and shared organ cases to provide seamless transitions and effective case completion.
Provide accurate information to both internal and external customers in a timely and efficient manner.
Work with families during the donation process.

About Indiana Donor Network:
We are a healthcare organization serving as the vital link between donors and patients waiting for lifesaving organ transplants, healing tissue, and corneas to restore sight. We are the state's federally designated organ recovery organization and an accredited tissue bank.

Requirements:
Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma or GED and post-secondary training or education in a relevant area. This could be an EMT, LPN, Medical Assistant, Social Worker, or another similar background. Passion for helping others and thinking big are required.
