Clinical Coordinator

The Clinical Coordinator - Registered Nurse will provide leadership, vision, and oversight to the provision of medication-assisted treatment services. This role will foster collaboration among medical, nursing, mental health, psychiatry, and security teams to plan, manage, and supervise MAT services for patients in assigned facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, manage, and supervise MAT services for patients in assigned facilities.
- Assist in program design and expansion of MAT services, including staffing and program development, in coordination with the Regional Office.
- Provide clinical supervision, professional education, and staff development for on-site service providers.
- Direct clinical services according to licensure and scope of practice standards.
- Represent the corporation's interests, ensure cooperation with facility administration, and oversee training provided by healthcare staff to other facility personnel.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Minimum of Independent Licensure with a Masters Degree in clinical/counseling psychology or social work from an accredited college or university or be a graduate from an Accredited School of Nursing with a current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state in which employed.
- Other substance abuse certification would be desirable though not required.
- Experience in the coordination and administration of behavioral health or medical service delivery systems as well as knowledge and/or interest in the provision of integrated behavioral health/medical programming within a multidisciplinary framework.
- Professional experience in the behavioral health or medical field that indicates knowledge of management and supervision techniques, peer review, data collection and quality assurance.
- Experience successfully navigating a correctional healthcare setting in which there are multiple stakeholders and needs to consider while maintaining the patients needs as the primary focus.
