About the Role

Lactalis North America is seeking a skilled Maintenance Manager to join our team in Nampa, Idaho. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our plant, focusing on production quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate maintenance activities to minimize downtime and ensure efficient operations.
  • Lead a team of maintenance personnel in effective decision-making regarding safety, production, and plant goals.
  • Develop and implement maintenance budgets and schedules to optimize resource allocation.
  • Collaborate with production teams to identify and resolve equipment issues.
  • Train and mentor maintenance staff on equipment operation and maintenance procedures.
  • Conduct regular safety inspections and implement corrective actions to prevent accidents.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of parts and materials.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • 5-6 years of experience in maintenance management, preferably in a food manufacturing environment.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in computer software, including maintenance management systems and data analysis tools.
  • Ability to interpret technical instructions and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
