Job Title: Assistant Maintenance Manager

Lactalis North America is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Maintenance Manager to join our team in Nampa, Idaho. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our plant, focusing on production quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate maintenance activities to minimize downtime and ensure efficient operations.
  • Lead a team of maintenance personnel in effective decision-making regarding safety, production, and plant goals.
  • Develop and implement maintenance budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness and optimal resource allocation.
  • Collaborate with production teams to identify and resolve equipment-related issues.
  • Train and mentor maintenance personnel on equipment operation, maintenance, and repair.
  • Conduct regular safety audits and implement corrective actions to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of parts and materials.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance plant efficiency and productivity.

Requirements:

  • Associate's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • 5-6 years of experience in maintenance, with 3-5 years in a supervisory or management role.
  • Strong knowledge of computer software, including Word, Excel, and maintenance management systems.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to interpret technical instructions and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
