Maintenance Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Manager to join our team at Lactalis North America. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our plant, focusing on production quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure all equipment is properly operating and maintain a high level of production quality.
- Supervise and assist the maintenance team in tasks and projects.
- Lead the team in effective decision-making regarding safety, production, and plant goals.
- Maintain and repair manufacturing equipment to minimize downtime and ensure efficient operations.
- Manage inventory, including ordering parts, training employees, and maintaining inventory records.
- Develop and implement cost-saving ideas and work closely with the maintenance manager to develop budgets.
- Conduct research, simulations, and comparisons as needed, and develop new reporting tools.
- Propose technical and organizational improvements and participate in trials and testing.
- Associate's degree from a two-year college or technical school preferred.
- 5-6 years of experience in maintenance, with 5-6 years of management experience preferred.
- Specialized knowledge of computer software, including Word, Excel, and AB software.
- Ability to interpret technical instructions, work well with others, and possess strong communication skills.
