To accommodate this rapid evolution, the SDF team is expanding its capabilities to bolster the ever-growing Stellar ecosystem.

Position Overview:
SDF is in search of a seasoned Corporate Security Analyst who will collaborate closely with partner corporate administration teams and engineering departments to ensure the security of the Stellar Development Foundation. You will apply security requirements through SecOps methodologies in your daily responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive initiatives to design and enhance our security vulnerability management programs, both proactively (audits, etc.) and reactively (patching policies, CVE tracking, etc.).
  • Establish a comprehensive security framework (processes, training, etc.) within the organization to integrate security best practices into our daily operations.
  • Develop robust 'security-focused' policies with our partner teams to ensure best practices and compliance at SDF.
  • Identify and implement enhancements to security tools, processes, and documentation.
  • Oversee security evaluations of third-party vendors and monitor the risk exposure associated with their products and integrations at SDF.
  • Design and execute security solutions for network systems, ensuring alignment with future cybersecurity standards.
  • Collaborate closely with IT and engineering teams on security assessments utilizing SIEM tools and conducting vulnerability evaluations.
Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience in enterprise corporate security or a related field.
  • Expertise in access control and identity management systems.
  • Familiarity with network protocols and secure network architecture.
  • Demonstrated experience in corporate security policy and knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks.
  • Strong analytical abilities with experience in SIEM tools such as Splunk, vulnerability assessments, and risk management.
  • Proven capability to coordinate security initiatives and lead technical aspects of security audits.
  • Ability to create and implement security training programs for the entire organization.
  • Experience in developing and executing technical solutions and processes to strengthen our security posture.
  • A solid track record of collaboration in a team-oriented environment.
  • Experience in consulting with external vendors.
  • Familiarity with MITRE, NIST, and OWASP frameworks.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience contributing to open-source projects.
  • Active involvement in the cryptocurrency community.
  • Experience with security solutions such as SIEM tooling, Wazuh, and Jamf.
  • Background in policy development and collaboration with executive-level roles.

Compensation and Benefits:
We offer competitive compensation with a base salary range for this position of $135,000 - $175,000, based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location. Additionally, we provide lumen-denominated grants along with a comprehensive benefits package, including:
