Key Responsibilities
  • Server Administration: Ensure the stability and security of our Microsoft Server infrastructure, including maintenance, security patches, and regular updates.
  • Geospatial Data Management: Manage and maintain our geospatial data, including editing and modifying GIS data in ArcGIS software, and performing QA/QC checks.
  • Database Administration: Manage Oracle and SQL interfaces, including user account management and data security.
  • Web Application Development: Work on web applications for our Robins GIS web viewer, including creation of web apps in Portal.
  • Licensing and Compliance: Manage ESRI/ArcGIS products and licensing, including ArcGIS Pro and License Manager.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in GIS, IT, computer science, or related field.
  • Experience: 1 year of experience actively managing systems, with a strong background in geospatial technologies and database administration.
  • Skills: Excellent communication, teamwork, and collaboration skills, with a strong understanding of QA/QC principles.
  • Certifications: Security+ certified, with the ability to pass the certification exam upon hire.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Professional Certification: Professional certification in Geographic Information Systems.
  • Advanced Experience: 2 years or more of experience actively managing systems, with a strong background in relational database management systems and enterprise environments.
